The WS218X is a high performance sub-bass system designed for use with large scale Wavefront and Blackline systems, in both touring and install applications. It features twin, 1000 watt 18" (460mm) drive units with magnet structure and suspension engineered for maximum linear excursion.

The birch ply cabinet is fitted with six pocket handles and four 4" (100mm) castors for easy deployment. It features large area porting to reduce air noise.

WS218X subwoofers are designed to be powered by Martin Audio MA4.2s power amplifiers.

Blackline X15+
Very high output, two-way system

The Blackline X15+ is a very high-output, wide-bandwidth, two-way system equally suited to portable live sound applications and fixed installations. It features a high-specification 15” (380mm) low frequency drive unit and a 1.4”
(35mm) exit compression driver mounted on a user-rotatable 80° x 50° constant directivity horn.

The 15” (380mm) LF driver has a lightweight 4” (100mm) voice coil and flux demodulation rings to reduce distortion at high excursions. Its neodymium motor system combines high sensitivity with low weight and advanced cooling reduces
power compression to negligible levels. The 1.4” (35mm) exit HF driver has a 3” (75mm) pure titanium dome and ultra-high flux neodymium motor system for maximum efficiency. The internal LF/HF crossover is switchable between
passive or bi-amp operation, depending on user requirements.

The X15+ is the perfect solution for very high-power applications where flexibility, ease of installation and speed of deployment are important factors. The versatile, multi-angle enclosure and rotatable horn facilitate either horizontal or vertical orientation, and comprehensive brackets support the full variety of mounting options – including surface, ceiling and pole mount. Integral M8 inserts for simple eyebolt suspension increase the options even further. In its horizontal configuration, the X15+ is also ideal as a very high-output stage monitor.

When used in bi-amp mode, or with a subwoofer such as the Blackline S18+ or S218+ , it is recommended that the X15+ is used with the Martin Audio DX1.5 or DX2 controller. When operated as a passive system, it may be used without a
controller, but will benefit from the DX1.5 or DX2's EQ and limiter functions.

The Blackline F10+ is a versatile, two-way passive system, designed to provide exceptional sound reinforcement and stage monitoring from a very compact enclosure. It features a powerful 10” (250mm) low frequency driver and a 1” (25mm) HF compression driver mounted on a constant directivity 90° x 50° horn. Depending on the application, the HF horn can be rotated to allow the multi-angle enclosure to be used in either its vertical or horizontal orientation. A demodulating ring fitted to the LF driver reduces distortion and improves the performance at the upper end of the LF driver’s range at high levels. Additionally, the directivity of the LF driver has been matched to the HF horn by a combination of optimisation of the water-resistant LF cone profile and improved crossover design.

Use of a controller with the F10+ is optional. For demanding applications, an M3+ or DX1 controller configured to perform EQ and limiter functions is recommended.

The Blackline F12+ is a high power, compact two-way system with a new, vented-chassis, 12” (300mm) LF driver and a new 1” (25mm) exit compression driver mounted on a rotatable 80° x 50° constant directivity HF horn. The LF driver has a tough, water resistant cone and features a high BL motor with a flat-wire copper coil and an aluminium demodulating ring. This reduces intermodulation distortion and improves midrange performance when driven hard. Increased excursion is available by virtue of a triple roll surround and deep motor structure. The directivity of the LF driver has been matched to the HF horn in the crossover region by improved crossover design and cone profile optimisation, also the new HF compression driver utilises an ultra-lightweight Kapton diaphragm for extended high frequency response.

Extended frequency response is provided by a new 15” (380mm) LF driver and a new 1.4” (35mm) exit compression driver mounted on a rotatable 80° x 50° constant directivity HF horn. The new LF driver features a tough, water resistant cone and a lightweight, high BL, neodymium motor system with inside/outside coil windings for improved heat transfer. Two-way passive reflex with dual bass drivers

The Blackline F215+ is a two-way passive, trapezoidal enclosure with dual 15” (380mm)/3” (75mm) voice coil low frequency drivers and a 1.4” (35mm) exit titanium diaphragm compression driver, mounted on a proprietary, rotatable, 80° x 50° constant directivity horn.

Below 250Hz, both LF drivers operate together to produce low frequencies, whilst above 250Hz, only the upper LF driver is used to reproduce the midrange up to the crossover point. This technique avoids the uneven response which would occur if both drivers were allowed to operate together over the midband.

Each of the two new LF drivers features a tough, water resistant cone and a lightweight, high BL, neodymium motor system with inside/outside coil windings for improved heat transfer. An aluminium demodulating ring improves the midrange performance at high levels and increased excursion is available via a triple roll surround and deep motor structure.

The F215+ can be used with or without a controller. Use of the M3+ or DX1 will enhance the low frequency performance of the system and provide high quality limiters to protect the F215+ from being overdriven.

The DX1.5 is a 2 input 6 output digital loudspeaker management system for use in both live applications and fixed installations. Based on a processing platform running at 96kHz the DX1.5 offers unrivalled performance and flexibility.
